Dr. Dennis Spence- The president and founder has been a practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at a Level I trauma hospital in Tyler, Texas for over
30 years. During that time, he has been involved in the treatment of multiple, complex facial injuries that required not only surgical
skill, but creative thinking and inventiveness in order to solve clinical problems where a textbook answer just wouldn't work. He has
developed many adjuncts to patient care including specialized bone plates for fixation of the facial skeleton.(

Dr. Spence graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, continued his undergraduate training and residency in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, and spent 2 years on active duty in
the United States Air Force before returning to Tyler. He has spoken nationally and internationally at surgical conferences and
published numerous articles in professional journals. An avid outdoorsman and pilot, he has also written for outdoor and aviation
magazines. Having an uncle in the oil and gas business stimulated his interest in the field, however, it was the ability to look
"outside the box" and see how technology in various disciplines can overlap that prompted his current desire to help solve difficult
problems. He is not new to going beyond the boundaries of his training. In 1999 he opened Mountain Landing Guest Quarters
(
www.mountainlanding.net) in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He personally researched and designed the efficient units, utilizing the
latest techniques and materials.
He and his wife, Sabra, now live in Bullard, Texas where he continues to "think outside the box".
